HOW TO APPLY
We are pleased to announce that DermSafePC® has received the Canadian Dermatology Review Panel’s “Seal of Approval”. The Dermatology Review Panel is comprised of key dermatologists from across Canada. These physicians were selected based on their expertise in various skin care areas, geographical diversity and dedication to the mission of this program.
The Dermatology Review Panel™, has been formed to provide an independent dermatologists' review of non-prescription skin care products including over-the-counter and other consumer products with skin care-related claims. The objective of this program is to help consumers and medical professionals easily identify products that meet the panel's approval standards and to encourage manufacturers to engage in more consumer and clinical skin care studies.
The seal is granted only after the panel of specialists have reviewed the clinical data including efficacy and safety data, after which, they “approve and list” the claims that they feel are well supported by this data.

Legacy HealthCare chose the benchmark test: the Phototrichogramme to prove the efficacy of its new treatment
When used in a clinical trial, the Phototrichogramme is a standardised, objective test which makes it possible to count the number of hairs in the growth phase (anagen) and the number of hairs in the resting phase (telogen) over a given surface area of scalp and at different times. So any change resulting from the application of the treatment to the scalp can be observed.
Statistical analysis of this data provides a conclusion as to whether or not the tested treatment is effective.
In clinical trials, AMANA™ was proven to be effective in 80% of patients.
In fact, applying it to the scalp:
• significantly increases the density of hair in the Anagen phase (the growth phase)
• significantly reduces the number of hairs in the Telogen phase (the resting phase)
• thickens the hair shaft
In clinical trials, it was observed that AMANA™ significantly increased the A/T ratio after just 6 weeks of treatment.
This 45% increase and a ratio of > 4 are indicative of a normalisation of the hair cycle
It is important to note that before an improvement is observed, AMANA™ must be applied for at least 3 to 4 months.

Apply AMANA™ twice a day, 5 to 10 sprays morning and evening, over the entire wet or dry scalp.
Massage, do not rinse, AMANA™ rapidly penetrates the scalp leaving no greasy film.
Duration of treatment:
For use on fine or weakened hair it is recommended that the product be used for a minimum of 12 weeks.
People with long hair are recommended to use the application tube supplied with the product. This allows the product to be applied directly to the scalp and not the hair.
AMANA™has been specifically developed for the treatment of excessive and chronic hair loss in people suffering from androgenetic alopecia.
AMANA™ is also suitable for cases of excessive, occasional or chronic hair loss following a hormonal change or stress such as menopause, discontinuation of hormone treatment as well as hair loss after childbirth and seasonal hair loss.
In clinical trials, a thickening of the hair was observed after 3 months of treatment with AMANA™. AMANA™ is therefore suitable for women wishing to increase hair volume or strengthen fine and brittle hair.
AMANA™owes its efficacy and its clinical results to a patented complex: Cellium® GC .
What is Cellium® GC ?
Cellium® GC is a combination of active principles, extracted from 4 plants, having a stimulating effect on neovascularization and a clinically proven efficacy, on hair growth and hair loss.
The four plant extracts include:
Cellium® GC (21% concentrated) has a complex mechanism of action but, the product has been shown to reduce cell apoptosis, while increasing the collagen surrounding the follicle. This results in hair that stays in the growth phase (Anagen phase) longer, allowing it to grow thicker and stronger improving the overall appearance of your hair.
AMANA™ significantly increases the amount of hair in the growth phase and significantly reduces the amount of hair in the hair shedding phase (Telogen phase).
Apply AMANA™ twice a day, 5 sprays in the morning and 5 sprays in the evening, to the wet or dry scalp.
